In this untraditional one hour standup comedy special for Showtime, Rita Rudner performs her very unique brand of comedy for the first 20 minutes of the show and then presents 3 very different comedians: David Gee, Allan Stephan and Jon Fox.
These 3 potential ex-husbands are the opposite of what you would expect from Rita Rudner’s brand of comedy, and that is what makes this show so hilarious and different. As Rita puts it, along the way, before she met Mr. Right of 23 years, she dated a number of comedians all of which she is glad she did not marry, sighting the fact that the marriages would probably not have lasted 23 minutes. So be prepared as she turns over the second half of the show to these 3 irreverent fellow veteran comedians.
