Sean Kent, critically acclaimed standup comedian and recent winner of the renowned Seattle International Comedy Competition, performs live to packed houses in the US, Canada and abroad. Recently featured on Showtime’s Green Collar Comedy Special, the Texas native’s incisive socio-political comedy can also be seen on NBC, CBS, E! Entertainment, Comedy Central, Fox Sports Net, VH1 and more. Uproar Entertainment recently recorded his new CD, scheduled for release in Fall 2010.In a recent review of his live stage show, Cinamablend called his performance: “seamless… Kent manages the unthinkable without ever appearing out of place.” Sean’s first full length CD “Sex, Drugs and Politics” is currently in heavy rotation on XM Radio and Sirius Satellite, where it was hailed as “An instant classic! Sean is featured as “…hands down the #1 Funniest Tweeter” on FunniestTweets.com, was recently chosen as “One of the Top Ten Funniest People on Twitter” by LaughTrack.com, was the featured comic on MySpace.com, and is widely known for his appearance as a series regular on two seasons of NBC’s Last Comic Standing where his performances were labeled “Edgy and daring.” A two-time cancer survivor, Sean also works to raise awareness by speaking and performing at a variety of annual charity events, including the Cancer for College Fundraiser with Will Farrell and the City of Hope Bone Marrow Transplant Reunion.
